The best value is the Quickjack3500 (not XL) last year was $835 USA$ shipped to the border... fits great and does the job really well and no issues going on or off.

I called the USA manu just now and they say that the unit is still available $795 and change with free shipping to continental USA... Dody is the clerk ext 204 he knows about it.

Just want to say that I have had this unit now for one year, and I added a 2 x 6  block cut to fit the square box where the rubber pad goes in and I also bought the larger pads ( only need two really)  it clears my frame really well and I have 20-22inch of clearance and its the cats meow.  I leave my car up for days and I can work and polish sitting down on a roller seat and I can get under with a creeper nicely.  Change tires, oil change fix this that and whatever.  It can take 3500 lbs but they are tested to 4500lbs.

Anyway... just saying.

I love living on Vancouver Island, but I do miss being close to the US/Canada border.  Over the years I've had lots of stuff shipped to a parcel depot on the US side of the border and driven or walked across to pick them up.  Unfortunately, where I live it isn't worth it.

Edit:  After visiting the Quickjack site  I noticed the jack's frame length (62") is longer than the distance between my buggy's front and rear tires.
