Racing Stripes

Ok, I've got the silver extrerior with red interior that most Spyders seeme to be "dressed" in. It matches my Speedster but I'm thinking about adding racing stripes to the Spyder. Questions: 1. Does anyone have a racing stripe(s) and can post photos? 2. If so, what type, size stripe(s), and color look best -- single 7 inch stripe in red, double 10 inch black stripes, or ??? 3. I have the removable vinyl "130" and "Little Bastard" graphics: has anyone used removable vinyl racing stripes? If so, where did you get them? Anybody have pix of original Spyders with racing stripes?

Thanks for the pics and the PM. Your Spyder looks terrific. It appears the racing stripes are 9 inches wide with a 2 inch margin between them. Correct? Are they painted or applied decals?

Any other Spyders with stripes? I know D Jaguars of the same era often wore racing stripes but haven't been able to find pix shots of original Spyders sporting them.

The single blue stripe looks a little too skinny for the car but the red one with the "vanishing point" looks good.
I like Marc's twin 9 inch stripes, too.

you might want to keep in mind the racing stripes have (or maybe had) a significant meaning at one time, maybe still do. The car with the thin stipe I beleive is a car where the strip signifies it is entered as a car from Mexico. I just looked and here is what I found...Colors assigned to chassis or underframe in the chart are
now applied to stripes or trim.
