I just purchased a used 2002 Beck Spyder that is currently equipped with front disc and rear drums. The car should arrive to my house from Alabama sometime during the first week of July. Does anyone know what brand or model number Beck uses for the rear disc's with parking brakes. Also, do they use a long swing or a short swing axel assembly. thanks Larry

You might want to check with Chuck on what he recommends but you should be able to pick something out of a VW magazine and be fine.

Also to be sure you might just want a VW mechanic to see if you have a short or long swing axle. Mine's an old Beck and has a short swing axle but better safe than sorry if you can't reach Chuck.
Thank you Bert,

Whats funny is that I don't even have the car in my possession and I'm planning on modifications. My wife just doesn't understand what it's like to be a car nut. My whole life I've been avidly "car crazy" and at age 55, I'm still as crazy as I was when I was 15.
