VW Type 2 ambulance fans. At least appearance wise. Probably just a blige blower.
Sounds obvious, but what matters with a fan is how much air it moves - which is usually spec'd in cubic feet per minute (CFM).
Don't see a spec for the Revotec, but this typical bilge blower fan (3-inch diameter and about $40 at West Marine), is 135 CFM.
The one Will links to is $35, but rated at only about 12 CFM.
The one I used to vent my engine compartment was a larger, 7-inch fan rated at 340 CFM, which works great but would probably be overkill for cockpit ventilation.
