I can't wait to get my recently purchased 2005 Crossfire SRT-6 to the strip. With the mods the car currently has I am thinking low 12's high 11's if the track is hooking and the weather is cool according to the previous owner. The car came stock with 349HP at 14 lbs of boost. The car now has had both the ECU and TCU retuned ,a  larger crank pulley to spin up the supercharger to 20 lbs of boost. This along with a larger intercooler radiator and free flowing cold air intake to keep the intake air cool brings the car up to about 430 hp. The car weighs 3100 lbs . The car will break loose at about any speed if you open her up. The traction control has been my friend and saved me a couple of times. I really love this car it is a real sleeper and a blast to drive.

Where I live, here just east of the City of Vancouver (a suburb called Burnaby) on a high point 300 ft. above sea level and I don't think it's 5 miles to the nearest part of the harbor. There's a lot of up and down here...

We (Jimmy and me) are on the east side of the Mississippi. The geographical center of the continent is higher.

America is low from the western slope of the Appalachians to the Mississippi (nearly flat). It starts on a very gentile upward incline from there to the east slope of the Rockies. Denver is on the very western edge of the Prairie (not yet on the east slope).

By there, the elevation is 5000 ft.

I don't know how we went from Roll bar to elevations, but, OK.

I'm at 2300 feet at the house and cruise between 2000 and 4000 ft when out and about. When my car was delivered, it was dripping gas out the tail pipe. We're in Western NC. There is also a north flowing river just down the hill from us called the French Broad. It's currently flooding from all of the rain we've had in the last two days. We crossed it many times during the Tour De Smo.

Jimmy, it was probably delivered with whatever jets came in the carb, and if it was tuned at all, it was tuned for Arizona where it came from(Seduction).

As altitude increases, the need for smaller jets increases, but I have found it's not a really big problem until you're at 5000 feet, which Carlos is sometimes very near.

I didn't change one thing on my car when we did the Tour De Smo. It ran fine, and didn't asphyxiate those behind me, except for maybe a little oil blow-by. That's been fixed now with new cylinders and rings.

The show was called "Blow It Up" and it was a joint venture between Clay Millican (spelling?, drag racer) and Rich Christianson (spelling?, the "Pinks" guy) and yes the premise was you drag race until someone blew their car up.  Everyone was supposed to have NOS installed, and the producers could tell you when and how to use it in order to aid in someone blowing up.  There wes also a laundry list of "rules" you had to follow, which we did (and not many others did) and just about all the rules were thrown out the window by the start of filming.  It was also supposed to be a T1 vs T4 shootout, but at the driver's meeting Clay pretty much told Jake that no one cared about T1 vs T4 except Jake and a few others, so that was no longer "a thing".  So mainly we raced Art Thraen (sp?) of ACE in his T1 Beetle drag car, and then some other car, maybe a blown Trans-Am or something...  and yes, Jake was not happy with all the changes and BS and said some choice things about Rich and maybe flattening his big nose or something along those lines...

Jake and I built the car together and had a ton of other sponsors involved (Rancho, Tangerine, Hoosier Tire, and a shitload of others on small parts).  We flew in "Muffler" Mike Sheldon to be the driver.  Car ran well, especially for one on its made voyage, but we ran with no fan and thus no charging, and as soon as the producers realized we were trying to charge the car between runs, they made us do like 10 "hot passes" in a row without charging.  Their plan worked and the system got down to a few volts and the electronics went haywire, timing went to **** and pistons/valves met.  It was fun regardless.

After Jimmy sold the car I lost track of it, and then it showed up at Greg's shop for a repaint and some other work.  No idea what happened to it after that.

I think the track was called Cordova.  It was just N of I80 along the Mississippi river.  The show did air on TV but only a handful of episodes, I don't recall how many, but the Spyder was aired for sure.  Likewise I really have no idea of what the times were.  From memory they were in the 12s but I wouldn't bet lunch on it.

Went to Irwindale Drags last night. Didn't get into the drifting corral and only hit 10.71 on the 1/8 mile with my Canyon. A driver hit the wall with his Rat Car last night. It was similar to an old "A" Altered 27 "T" pick-up. Tires broke loose up close to the finish line and away he went. Looks like a new front axle and related parts before he'll return.

Low ET of the night was 5.22. That run was perfect as "kiss my hand" !!

It's the second day of the Winter Nationals at Pomona Fair Grounds today. I'm heading out there today and have some "spectater" fun

Elevation ?? I didn't know what it is here in Arcadia Ca but I looked it up....520 Ft.

To put that in perspective Pat Down's does the 1/8th mile in 5.90 secs in his VW.
