I have seen the manual for mounting the roll bar inside the CMC flareside . It appears that the front vertical bars are mounted on the seat edge. Is there any steel structure beneath the seat edge? Has anyone mounted the roll bar to the floor instead? In looks like if you mounted the roll bar to the floor and the angled rear portions to the rear chassis this would strengthen the chassis up a bit. Any suggestions?

Assuming Streetbeast's rollbar is the same as the old CMC models - probably is the same. The rollbar is only decorative. It bolts thru the rear seat side wall to a metal plate, that metal plate bolted to the frame or tube. The base of the bar mounts to the fiberglass seat. It's fairly stiff, looks nice, but I wouldn't count on it for any protection.
There is a kit that mounts under the tub on the outside of the fiberglass and goes to the vertical door mounts and rear torsion supports. I have these pieces. Basically they match up to and bolt to the CMC roll bar brackets that otherwise would "only" mount to the fiberglass and provide an appearance. With these on, it mounts transferring through the glassdown to the rigid door uprights and torsion frame. I also have the roll bar too, which I have promised to Bill when I get around to shipping it. I have just completed one more project and need to get back on another. I'll post pictures some day!
