Route 66 offers so many great stops along the way.

Did you stop in at La Posada? Been most of 20 years since I been there but it was a stunning place back then.

Years ago when I lived in Las Vegas, I headed out on a day ride and ended up on a portion of Rt 66.  At one point I looked over and saw a section of old roadway where they’d obviously straightened out a curve.
Curiosity demanded I go check it out and I ended up riding home with a 3 pound chunk of what I believe is the original Rt 66 in my pannier.

No, we did not stop.
