Except for no leaves in my footwell, I feel like I was there. Txs for the great pix and the cool video editing. Looks like the Biltmore detour was pretty special -- and maybe even worth the $40 extra. The mountain vistas were/are spectacular.

I take it the body damage was a parking lot thing?? Hit and run?? Nobody saw nuttin'? that is a shame. Fixable, I'd suppose good as new, but a shame none the less. From one Red Baron to another . . .
Great Video Sandy. You have some photos there I realy like.

Remind me a few weeks before Christmas and I'll try to send you some of my Moms Fantastic Christmas candy..
If I can talk her into it . Biltmore's is not even close to Mom's. She is still a gormay cook..

Oh she can make choclate covered sour creams of Cherry, Almond, Mint, Coconut., Peanutbutter. Clove. Both white and dark choclate.

If she does it always too too much.

I look like Elmer Fudd for a reason. Mom's a Great COOK!!
Barry, we love chocolate covered anything. Send it up North when Mom has it ready. Glad everyone is enjoying the flick. Hope to c ya'll their next year. If we get at least 15 cars(Replica or real P-cars) Sandy and Christina might bring their itsy bitsy thongs! Whatever it takes to get more cars and folks to this event. Scott, I hope you don't mind that I volunteered your wife.
The success of this event was due to the ALL those that attended. Everyone contributed to making this run The Greatest SOC event ever!

Most by now, realize that I live in this portion of God's Country. There many "hidden" roads or drives that are just as beautiful as the Blue Ridge Parkway, I've driven hours without see another vehicle. These hidden back ways are not for every one due the lack of services available and the driving skills that may be required. One should bring lunch or dinner! However, I'll be glad to map the drives for those that are interested. Lake Lure, North Carolina region.

If the gathering is earlier next year, I recommend that a picnic style lunch were all can help themselves and make their sandwiches, pull drinks out of an old wash tub, ambrosia, fried apple pies, etc. When was the last time you all did something like that? Just a thought!!!

Ready for next year yet?

Leon--only when I don't have command performance christenings to attend!

National? Some folks are--look at Jim El Guapo--he's made 2-3 Carliles in a row! And what about John Hallstrand--West coast, baby!

Loved Sandy's video and the photos---what a great time y'all had!
I have always said that the cars are only half the deal (the money half, that's sure as hell true) but the other half is the wonderful comraderie on this site and at the events.

Good folks and good times.

Now thongs too????
I hated going back to work,," SO BAD" !!!! I wish i could have stayed a week and explored a lot more..

I felt bad for the ladies I watched them shiver sunday morning. Me in my thermal jacket. Shameful!!Just shameful..

It's Friday nite And I have a small glass of Lemon wine. Im celibrating a great weekend. I was afraid me and my D would not be up to the task this last weekend. But it did OK..Heres to you guys..
Well i have printed about 55 pics i have 3 i want to make 11 x 9 s out of But the quality is just not good enough . Lane's ..th_DSC_0136 image If I could get a non photo bucket de-enhanced Pictue i hink it would work.. Nolan's th_055 was another one.

Guys can you direct email me a digital copy of these two? I have Photo shop.

If that doesn't work,, I will need to see what Tom Raymond has for sell.
It's the 5 cars parked diagonaly in front of biltmore. Your a little closer to the cars or you zoomed a bit..

I don't know for sure But I also think Sandy has one I want also with us standing by our cars..

All the pic's I printed are ok as 5x7s But they fail terrably as largements..

I wish now I had pack and used my digital camera I have had some real good inlargents out of it.. Boodie Lighthouse was one of best 11 x 14s I have ever done. and the when i ran out of road pic of the D at currituck was the next best.

Only problem my camera does not work well when its cold outside. its contrast goes blue..
