Great photos! I have now given up all hope of submitting a calendar photo.

Me too, Michael! Besides the fact that I've never seen a Spyder in the calendar......

That Speedster/Spyder shot with the water in the background is AWESOME!

I'm sure the calendar selections are based on who sends in what and if the submissions followed the rules as stated by Theron.

@Ryan (formerly) in NorCal Can you offer tips on how to capture such excellent pics. You car is absolutely amazing.

Flattering. Top Tips:

  1. Have fun.
  2. Get out and drive.
  3. Take a lot of pics.

I just use my iPhone and the Enlight app for any post processing needs.

I asked Theron about this when I visited a few weeks back. If I recall correctly, he said most of the submissions didn't follow the basic guidelines — too low resolution for consideration or oriented incorrectly (portrait instead of landscape). It's time to level up your photography game friends! I'd love to see your photos in next year's calendar.

And @Gordon Nichols, get your own thread!

Just kidding. Looks like a great day. It's been in the 30s most mornings lately here. Cold way to start the day in a Speedster. I bring two coats.

Hey wait a minute. Johnny Mosley was just on our radio yesterday saying even though temps are in the mid 70s in the Bay Area, conditions are prime for skiing in Tahoe. Maybe water skiing???

I mean, there is snow. And people were skiing. But when Ski Patrol came out to check on me winding up the dirt roads meant for Snow Cats, the phrase they used was “this winter is crushing us.”

Can anyone recommend classic snow tires?

“The Most Dangerous Sport in the World”

I’ve been looking for a pre-plowed parking lot to play on at some point. This side of the pass, so I don’t get stuck on the other side. I’ll get one of these classic shots one day!

Almost makes me miss the Midwest. Sunny day after a fresh storm would be a lot of fun in the Speedster. And you don’t need to drive a few hours to find it. In California, you visit the snow. In the Midwest, the snow is delivered to your doorstep.
