After being a cheap, nail straightening Yankee for far too long, I decided to let some moths out of my wallet. Called VS and they made me a shiny new (plug and play) wiring harness to replace the rat's nest from CMC. After fooling with diagrams for too long, a resounding "F%^k It!!" was heard from the garage. Called Will at Vintage Speedster.

I now have a figurine of Will from VS on my dashboard. Praise Jebus!

Wiring is somewhat simple if you have the right speedster specific harness and do one item at a time then power that item up to confirm all is ok, of there is an issue you only have to go back through a few connections to resolve the issue . This beats doing half the car and then discovering an issue.  Greg at Vintage Motorcars (CA) has the best harness,  I use that all the time without having to refer to the wiring diagrams, ( you'll need to add in the ground loop for your gauges and relays for the horn and headlights. )  with that in mind if you use that harness and run into a question just ask as what seems difficult will be  easy for you.

@Boothy

Is "Will from Vintage" from Vintage Speedsters in Arizona or from Vintage Motorcars of California Inc.?  If he is from Arizona, your wiring harness was most likely made by Greg at Vintage Motorcars of California Inc. and just resold by Will in Arizona.

Vintage Speedsters in Arizona buys their bodies from Greg in California and most likely buys wiring harness' and most everything else, other than engines, from Greg as well.
