Pictured is either a Vintage or an exact replica of a Vintage. The shifter is a Brandwood, like mine; I believe Vintage has switched over to the PBS shifter for current builds.

The value added is the interior aluminum. Lots of rivets, looks cool (if not quite exactly like what a 550 or 550A looks like). Labor intensive, compared to the usual carpeting. I'm curious to learn what premium that effort brings.

Driving one of these, and paying $127,000 for it, must take a special kind of vision.

I only say this because at the end of the driving video, the ultra cool driver takes off his sunglasses and then stares straight into the sun.

Maybe they have all of their customers do this before signing the check.

It's the only plausible explanation I was able to work out.
