Sure. Everybody's got an opinion-- they're like belly buttons.

Perhaps a better approach would be to search the 50 or so threads already dedicated to this very topic. There's some actual information in them, as opposed to comments.

By the way, what's better: a Voltage Speedster, or an old CMX? And wouldn't it be cool if I put a rocket in my back seat instead of a flat 4?
What is it about SAW/SAS that you are looking for? The way you opened the thread tends to lend itself to general comments rather than focus. There is certainly a lot of information already on this site - both pro and con - concerning SAW/SAS. In general, SAS builds a good car, build very few cars each year, and are very slow in delivering the cars that they agree to build. Their staff is very small. If you want a car in 60 days or even one year, then I suggest you look elsewhere.
Ed: You didn't say where you live. If it's close to Knoxville then I suggest a tour of SAS and speak with Steve Lawling. I'm having a cabriolet built and there are others on this site that own or have ordered one. Yes, they are very slow in producing their cars. Are they of good quality? Tops in quality, and there are no used ones for sale. They are presently unique as no one else builds a mid-engine custom frame Porsche 356. SAS has been building custom cars for thirty years and just recently (4 years) started producing the Suby powered versions of the 356; so far there are 7 on the road, one bad-ass turbo WRX STI powered Cabriolet almost ready to hit the road and three more coming in for assembly from the paint shop.

This is a heartbreaking moment. A mayor economic problem is forcing me to sale my dream.

Yeah as you read it, a SAS Subaru Powered engine "FOR SALE"

Great opportunity for somebody who can't wait months or years. I wait two years for the big moment and now I have no choice.

I am next in line just Behind Nolan Scott.

The new owner have the possibility to make any change he want.

Any real interest please email me at: godevilla@hotmail.com

Thanks, Gonzalo De Villa
