My friend Mike Lempert has a beautiful mahogany Porsche VDM reproduction that he told me he'd sell off of eBay to the SOC folks for $400.  The ad, including pictures, is here:

His description in the ad is:

Porsche VDM Style Wood Steering Wheel by Lempert Wheels
This beautiful, mahogany rimmed steering wheel is a reduced 15" size made for the 356 and Speedster replicas. The mounting will fit Nardi or Momo bolt patterns.
This wheel is made to look like the VDM 550 Spyder wheel. The rim is a beautiful, dark mahogany with the characteristic two grooves on the front. It will come with a trim ring if requested. Most people prefer to use their Nardi style horn button and surround.
The mahogany we use is selected for its beautiful, natural color and grain. The aluminum pieces are 6061 T6 aluminum.
Please feel free to ask questions, including anything you might wish to know about the details of my wheels.
Recent, verifiable customer feedback is available upon request.
I have indicated a lifetime guarantee (my lifetime) against any workmanship issues. Please feel free to ask questions.
