Didn’t video the first drive but there is plenty of power in the 1915, the speed shifter option was a good one and it was extremely smooth . I was surprised at how cool it ran given the hot muggy weather here in NC and the steering was extremely tight and responsive . I did notice a slight wander  in the front end and checked the tire pressure. It was 27#s in the front and 30 in the rear , took it down to 22 front and 26 rear and it was much better

overall…. Very impressed!

@Victorious sounds like a great first day with the Speedster!  If you could shoot a few videos of the acceleration through the gears and also the tach showing RPM’s at 65-75mph on the highway in 4th gear that would be very much appreciated. Also how’s the gap between 3rd gear and 4th?  Does the 1915 have enough grunt to pull or is there a gap there like others have commented?  I am thinking with the VMC’s pretty stout 1915 (with 110hp) she likely pulls along fine.

As for the wander, are you sure if was just not ruts in the highway from heavy vehicles and trucks?  Some small cars with narrow tires will do that, especially given how little the 356 weighs.

Too much air pressure in the fronts is probably the single biggest issue related to the front end wandering around and feeling light. He was smart to check that first. It's free to do and usually the problem.
