Happy to report that Greg's Happy Monday posting today on the VMFacebook site shows my car. The build process went smoothly. Greg patiently and honestly answered my many questions, and worked with me on options and add-on items. The SOC has also been a great source for learning about the joys and problems of these machines. I will probably be one of the oldest Speedster drivers around, but have owned my 1965 SC coupe since 1974. Now the fun begins!

As reported recently in Boston, the advice of 103 year old Ruth Kundsin is "You've got to have something to look forward to. That's the secret".

Most of my new cars over the years have been special orders. This one will likely be my last and tops the list for being involved in the build process. To quote Mr. Sinatra, "I did it my way".

Thanks for all the supportive messages!

Who among us have never said this before?

And @IaM-Ray said- "We might have gone another round if the MAKER was still making some.... and  in a timely matter  "

Good new kids- a little birdie originally shared this with me a few days ago and I've been given the ok to announce it here (so you're the first of the public to know)- there's been a change at IM and they are building cars with 'real' engines again! Anyone seriously interested should call and talk to Henry 6O4 5two4 4747.
