I am putting my Carrera Coachwerks 550-6 Spyder up for sale,  looking to get into a Speedster and need the room.  It has a 1967 911 engine that is now 2.7 liters & Weber carbs W/approx 230 hp & a 914/901 5-speed side shift gearbox. It is running  15' x 7"Fuch-reps on all 4 corners, 5x130 lug pattern. 4-wheel disk brakes,  It is currently registered and inspected & titled as a 1955 Porsche 550 Spyder in NH.  Please email for pictures, I am located in Merrimack, NH.  Below is a link to my actual car from 2012.  It no longer has the decals or rediculous 19" wheels.

Please email me at:   joe 18  D @a  o  l     dot   c  o  m   for additional pictures.

Thanks, Joe

Looks great.

I was going to ask about the registration but from the article, this explains that:

"Inevitably, California is one of the hardest places to register a replica, with other states being the same or more lenient. A turn-key car meets CA regulations by incorporating a certain number of parts from the donor vehicle. So a $35-40,000 356 Speedster might be based on a 1969 VW Beetle and carry forward its registration. Or you can buy a 911 and incorporate it into the chassis to acquire a Porsche registration document."

I guess I could have done that with my speedster.  Not sure why I would, but it would be interesting.

Bob, you have the ultimate aircooled car really, with full 993, it does not get any better when you are in the Aircooled world and the colour or color, choices are awesome.  You should post a pict of your car with the new wheels.
