I usually save them to my desktop first then repost. I've had much better luck that way.
That's the exact Corvette I was referring to in the previous thread. We were contacted early on to help tool it and declined. Similar concepts with the 300SL on a newer SLK and a couple of others. None of which ever took off.
It's pretty. And the photos on their site are even prettier.
But, I think an original 356 or a replica that looks like an original is prettier still. If I had the bucks, I would buy one of the replicas, or I would buy an Aston Martin. For me, there is not a better looking car than an Aston Martin.
For that matter, I would buy a new Cayman over a new Starke/used Boxster.

I think that unveiling was a year ago at SEMA.
And was apparently the last public sighting of one. I'm not as cynical about this as some of you, as I understand how some would be attracted to the idea. I do think that the cost is high enough to make the market too small to be a viable business.
Just because I know you all love to hear Starke updates, I just saw this pass through my social media feeds. Built for what I believe is a client in Italy.

I have to admit that I kinda like the look - certainly like the color - but as I said above, the cost just isn’t right.

Again, while out of my price reach, I think it looks great. I really hope they find a market and can make a go of it.
