I recently finished my 550A and have come across a steering anomaly. I just had the front end aligned, but have discovered a "dead zone" in the steering, where the car experiences severe understeer. This appears to the right and left of dead center. a 30 to 40 degree rotation in the steering wheel is required before the car responds. When parked, a turn in the steering actually moves the camber in a positive direction (out) before the wheel actually begins to rotate. Is this alignment, or tie rods out of plane, or something else I've done wrong?
