I bought the type that Robert mentioned above by mistake, I really wanted the ones with the two clips on the top (eliminating the drilling into the outer frame). I am having reservations installing them because of the drilling and if I want to take the mesh cover off to clean the head lights, I will need to pull the entire outer frame off. Still thinking about it.....mmmm

I've got the mesh screen version which screws onto the chrome headlight rim.  I got them from a guy (TC) who had a lot of antique Porsche stuff kicking around.

The screens have a tab at 10 and 2 o'clock with a knurled finger screw to tighten them down (see photo).  I epoxied a nut onto the backside of the chrome rim with the intention of making them removeable but, to tell the truth, I've never taken them off since installing them.  To clean the headlight lens I push a small sponge around the glass using a paint stirring stick.  Easy-Peasy.

I'll admit that the version of the screens that have simple hook-tabs at those same locations to catch the rim and a single locking screw at the bottom (6 o'clock) would be ideal.

That’s what I have. I had to get a set of spacers and longer screws next door at Ace because my bezel screw sat a little proud of the fender.

I, too, installed them with an eye to taking them on and off and I haven’t needed to once in 3 years.
