Does anyone like these? On spyders they designated team or country colors. On spyders red was German, British racing green was of course England and I copied a French race car and put Capri blue stripes on my spyder. Do they mean anything on a 356?

The car has an identity crisis?
Liz Taylor as Cleopatra?
I love fender darts on a Spyder. On the front of a 356, meh.
Meh too.
I don't hate them, but I don't love them either. That car appears to have them on both ends, which really doesn't work for me. My OCD would demand that the end points line up, which they obviously don't here.
Not my cup of tea
I prefer these on a 356 but think it looks best on coupes
or even this
Probably skip the darts. Maybe I could make my spyder’s big brother with silver, capri blue darts and baseball glove brown leather interior. Or just skip the darts. Capri blue Pegasus? Hmm.
I like the idea having it match the Spyder.
Fender darts on the Spyder: Rears only. Almost standard. Used in racing to differentiate between same-color cars. Very cool.
Fender darts on a Speedster: Front only. Pretty rare. Used to say "race car." Very cool.
This is a FoaF’s old Spyder. I kind of like it except I think the main stripe up the frunk is too narrow.
#0115. Of course no one would dream of doing that now, but back then it was just an old $3500 race car no one wanted.
The coolest thing about it was it had a 1700cc flat fan 547/8 motor.

I like the red and blue center stripes -- the lime green NOT so much.
I don’t like the stripe, but I really like that green!
I had the same pants. Real Navy bellbottoms.

Your car is going to be pretty special, Phil! Lots of time to collect those special little parts you want to add to it.
