 Well maybe a blacksmith can do it...the problem is that you have to bend the bar stock to conform to the curvature that you want, to maintain the profile of the canvas...so unless you this stuff on a regularly, its a constant bend, refit...take it off... do it again etc. I would prefer something simpler like wood "bow" or...

I guess you could try cutting a piece of plexiglas (polycarbonate plastic).  Make template out of cardboard to shape desired then cut it. Just not sure that it is durable enough when only a 1/2" or so wide.  Steel or aluminum flat stock bent would work best.  Ya bend it too far - reheat and bend it back a bit. Try you Spyder's manf for a replacement part if you can't DIY.
