I created this calendar for the Northeast Replicar Group but thought it might be of interest to others, not necessarily part of our group.  These are just events that I've attended or heard about in the past, and I'm trying to stir some interest for local get-togethers where we can meet each other and is NOT a complete list, by any means.

If you know of other events in the Northeast that might be of interest to Replica people, please post it and see if others show up.  We can't come if we don't know about it!

If some of these look like fun, come join us!

Copy and print the list.  Hang it on your Fridge.  Mark it up.  Get your car ready and come on along!

In order by month:

April

We should consider an “Intervention” to get Justin Stone’s speedster running for the season, or at least enough for him to get it to a mechanic to get it checked out for the 2019 driving season. It is sitting in a protected garage in Cambridge, MA and was not run last season so I expect it needs the fuel removed and re-filled with fresh gas and then trying to get it started. Volunteers to help are welcome, and I’ll re-visit this as we get into late April.  this is being set up between Len Cannizzarro and myself and MAY be a weekday event out of convenience.  I'll post details as soon as Justin tells us what day(s) work for him.

April 28:    The TYP356ne club will be cruising from Sherborn, MA to the Vanilla Bean Café in Pomfret, CT (intersection of RTs 44 and 169)

See the TYP356ne newsletter event calendar for more info:

 Sept 13 – 15 Hemming’s Motor News Northeast Concours

The Rally, limited to just 75 vehicles, remains an integral part of the schedule; however, starting promptly at 11 a.m. on Friday.  It will leave the Festival Commons — site of Sunday’s Concours — and will make a police-escorted trip to historic Fort Ticonderoga located at the southern end of Lake Champlain.

Saturday brings us the annual Cruise-In Spectacular — an open-to-all-makes/general collector-car gathering (excluding cars invited to display in Sunday’s Concours) beginning at 8 a.m. As has been the case, this preliminary event will take place at Festival Commons, adjacent to Fort William Henry, and will include judging and an awards ceremony at 2 p.m.

The weekend culminates with our 13th Annual Concours d’Elegance, which will open to spectators at 9 a.m. on Sunday. This year’s premier event will feature the following classes: Prewar Rolls-Royces (1942 and older), Class of 1949, Datsun Z and ZX Cars (240, 260, and 280 through the 1983 model year), Early SUVs through 1978 (Bronco, Blazer, Scout, etc.), Chevy W-Engine Cars, Vintage Race Cars, and Fresh Restorations (reserved for vehicles that have just completed their restorations).

Don't look at ME!  That one for the Northeast took me most of an afternoon to do.

Look at Hemmings Motor News calendar for things in your area (where-ever YOU are!), or just start googling stuff, like "Cars and Coffee near me" or "Car shows near me" and see what pops up.   Same for the PCA Mid-Atlantic Region, Kelly, (but you have to be careful which PCA event you go to - if it is a PCA sponsored event you might not quite be welcomed).

All You Northeasterners:  Herb Chambers has a Nomadic Cars and Coffee event at some of his dealerships each month and the location and dates are always on his website, but they have not yet been posted for 2019.  They always have free coffee and Danish, on Herb (I'm sure he can afford it).  Once they post dates, I'll let you all know or you can look here:

Cruise Nights at Patriot Place

Please be aware that they usually get 2,500 - 3,000 cars at this event!

And don't forget to check the Lawn Event Schedule at Larz Anderson Park in Brookline, MA.  They have something really cool every weekend all season long.  I especially enjoy the "Extinct Car Day"!
