My plastic car does pretty well at car shows. Homecoming Queen's love it too. Both the Speedster and Z4 did homecomings last Friday evening. Speedster has two this week and one more next week. The seasons not over here until October. As a bonus, the view in my mirror is really great!

Oh, to be 17 and have this car...That likely wouldn't have made much difference; I'm much more handsomer now.

About $10,000.00 per 1 HP, that Carrera speedster is easily 1-1.5 Million $ nowadays. There is (was?) a guy on Maui with a real silver Carrera GS,and a real AC Cobra. He made a video of himself driving it and he was cruising at 4500+ rpm. Those motors are 1.5 liter and 115-130hp when everything aligns right, and vry little torque,so that is A LOT of money to drive that slowly! I have a Beck built as a Carrera with 130+ hp and 2 liter so way more torque.  Here is my daughter posing with it,
