Hi Can any one help?

I am thinking of buying a vintage speedster and wondered if any one had ever dealt with teh company, and what the cars are like.

I have only heard positive things but just wanted to ask the professionals.... You guys.

I have owned original 356s in the past so would I be happy... at least there is no rust and I will have reliability..

Just drop me a mail...

Not reccomened for obvious saftey reasons, plus, you only have a two point seat belt. Only thing the child will see is the dashboard and the sky. My 10 year old can barley see out. I only take the kids on one or two mile drives. Just too many SUV's that don't pay attention. Makes me nervous. Great car for people 100lbs or more but be careful out there. VS is a very good value for the money.
These cars have often been referred to on these pages as four-wheeled motorcycles and for good reason. Aside from seat belts, most of the safety features in modern cars are missing and the crash worthiness often comes into question. I would think carefully about taking small children in a Speedster if the only safety feature provided is a lap belt.
John, yes i had a Vintage Speedster. I bought the car and made to look and feel like an original with all components. For someone who doesn't know much about the cars and wants to a driver car, that's a nice car. They do a good job for the "average consumer". Kirk is a good guy, very well respected. I go down there all the time. These cars are easily made to customize how you like it, all you have to do is just ask.
