Very strange indeed. The seller "kevinkyan" is actually Patrick Mitchell of Midlothian, Virginia per the cell phone number. The BBB also lists his name and number as being associated with a company called "Mitchell's Group" which is listed as a used car business. He currently has 5 items for sale on eBay. Two Cobra replicas, an Audi R8, and a 1991 Porsche 911 Carrera 2. All of them seem to have low prices on them. His profile shows that he has sold 4 Porsches, a Tesla, and a BMW i8 in the past six months. All of them show that they sold for prices well below current prices. For instance the BMW i8 is an $80-$100K car and it sold for $55K. A 1977 911 SC Cabriolet slant nose conversion car allegedly sold for $25K in the past six months. That is a much more expensive car and I found the same car for sale at a dealership in Chicago for $45K but the website it was on looks sketchy also.

The winning bidder on three of his cars was the same person and each time he only bid one time and won the auction. He may or may not be legit but his ads are all sketchy and the prices the cars sell for are very low.

He had a negative feedback on eBay from a guy who tried to buy and car but he wouldn't send the money until the car made it to LA where he could see it. Here's what the negative feedback reads:

Won the auction for a car located in LA. Once ended I was told I needed to wire the funds ASAP, yet the car was being transported to LA from Hawaii. Fishy. However I kept it going. I stated I'd wire the funds once the vehicle was in LA. Over 3 weeks later it finally arrived in LA (supposedly), then the seller stated they sold the car to someone else. Also seller isn't the person listing the cars.

The car, a 1981 911 SCTarga, allegedly sold for $30K but the value of that car is more like $54K. Either this guy has no idea the value of a Porsche or he likes losing money. Or it's all a scam.

Sounds like he created his own fake history by listing and buying non existent cars to himself but who knows. Buyer beware.
