Thought I'd share our build

Well its been a long time coming, but eventually starting to be worth the wait!

Our shell of our Intermeccanica Convertible D just out of paint this morning, and i'm really please with how it looks.

Can't wait to see it start to come together over the coming weeks.

Will post more pics as we progress.

Cheers

Hi Wolfgang,

It has been in production at IM for some time and has basically been constructed as a build kit, then sipped to the UK for Intermeccanica's UK partners to complete the build.

It's been quite a trip really over two years to get to where we are now, so hopefully not too long to wait now.

Nice Nick, good to see the progress on your build.   Robert that is IM's design on the back seat.  I believe you can see the IVR I believe it's called requirements for shoulder belt attachment.  Nice work on IM's part for sure and the carrera vents are awesome looking.

Thank you Ray. Hadn't noticed that before on the IM.

Marty has a 944 spare tire metal wheel and he had it cloned,  and I think made by the same company as those.   @Bob: IM S6 Bob,  you can get whatever wheel you  want made up in whatever size you want from that company.  All you need is real money, I mean compared to ours.   Not sure what final look that is desired but here you have them in 18inch and wide sporting a C series hub cap.

I think you can get them chromed, or aluminum polished the list goes on really.

Here is the wheel again
