Ya know, suicide doors make a lot of sense on a speedster. My doors certainly don't open very wide, and arthritis sure don't help me look graceful gettin in and out. Heck, it's not like we got side impact beams or anything. Maybe that's why I see suicide doors on about 50% of all the street rods at various hot rod shows - the owners are all just as old as I am!
Alan and All, I checked out the Kit Car Builder Magazine "technical article" about the RSK windshield. You might find the photos below, which I took at the AHA Knott's B.F. Show interesting. These photos don't do justice to the Thunder Ranch built RSK's paint job. The car is a bright yellow color, as you can see, above the headlights on the fenders there are long scallops in a matching metalflake yellow paint. Check out the helmut!!

For those of you who are interested in widebodies (Speedsters that is) I took a few photos of the TR build for Des. However, because I've decided not to be a "contributing member" to the S.O.C. website anymore, I cannot upload high resolution photos to the site - there is a kilobyte upload restriction on non-contributing members' photos.

If you would like some high resolution (actually, they are calendar quality) photos of the widebody, email me directly and I'll send them to you.

Alan, I am no longer a contributing member of the SOC. Members who do not contribute have file size limitations on photo up-loading to the SOC site. As soon as I saw your request for more photos of the widebody I sent several to the email address in your SOC registration information. If you have not received them, or if your email address has changed, let me know and I'll resend them.
