Another FL owner in Tallahassee.  Jody - What are you looking for in size and what Speedster is it going on?  Stock VW rims were 4-4.5" wide (by 15").  That limits tire size to 155 (or 165) width.  Some could have wrong offset which with wrong tires won't fit without rubbing. The Porsche 914's mostly used 5.5" wide rims (except for low end 4.5 rims).  There are the stock wheels which look classic with baby moon or nipple hub caps.  the cross pattern VW and 914 Sport rims (they are different). Chrome Mangels are popular too (early Brazil one have better chrome than the later cChinese ones). Plus the quality (but increasingly costly) 914 optional alloys - Mahle ($$$), Fuchs ($$) and Pedrini ($).  Then there are aftermarket alloy wheels such as Gurney, Rivera, Turbine, Empi (a decent wheel for not much $).

Here's pictures (note 5 lug will take new rotors/drums or adapters (avoid if given chance):

I've probably got a couple steel 4.5" VW rims in FWB with "May Pop" tires if its just to roll around in a garage.  Or go to a local VW show or club and check.
