Finally retiring and moving from SoCal with my 2013 Kirk VS built to open roads of AZ. Would like to ask the AZ folks of any experience they may have bring an out of state replica for AZ registration.

CA title/registration are as 1962 Volkswagon with only 7 digits for the VIN- small plate. This all comes straight off Kirk's VS production line. LOL

Shouldn’t be any problem whatsoever. Typically, when you register a car from out of state, you take your title and a VIN inspection to the DMV and they register it and send you a new title from that state.
Typically, most states won’t require an emissions test on a vehicle that “old” but you’ll be able to find that info, and how to obtain a VIN inspection, on the AZ DMV website.
Just hope they don't recognize it as a "custom car" and not a VW when they do the VIN (Chassis #) check.
Arizona considers kit cars “custom built cars.” Before a custom built car can be titled and registered, it must pass a vehicle inspection.
Phoenix and Tucson are only areas that require emissions testing.
