Back in 2015 I bought a set of plug and play LED headlights from Vintage Car LEDs first for my Beck/SE Speedster and because they were so good for night driving later bought a set from Vintage for my Beck/SE Spyder and posted on the SOC about them.

Recently the low beams on the Speedsters headlights started flickering so I emailed Thomas Duncan of Vintage and let him know what was happening. He got right back to me and let me know they were having some issues with this first generation LED bulb and he sent me a new set of newer/ better ones for free. They've been working great since October in my Speedster.

Then last month on my Spyder the right side low beam (same first generation LED bulb) started flickering and it's low beam went out (the high beams still worked). This time I just went ahead and ordered a new set of bulbs from Vintage and paid for them. Thomas saw that order, emailed me and wrote he'd return my money and send me a new set of the newer generation LED bulbs for free which he did.

I can't say enough good things about Vintage Car LED's and Thomas' excellent after the sale service. They back up what they sell. The LED headlights are awesome at night and I run mine during the day too. I highly recommend them for your Speedster or Spyder. Here are some pictures I posted in 2015 showing the LED's and the standard bulbs in my cars.  Pete

I had the same experience with Thomas over Christmas.  He rocks, and stands behind his lifetime warrante.

i also decided to order his bulbs for our Honda Pilot.  They work just as well as the ones I had installed on my VS.

Incredible vendor, and really bright lights really help  both as daylight driving lights and for night time visibility.

highly recommended!!!

I just spoke with Matt at VintageCarLEDs and he recommended the VC3500 or VC4000 headlight kit for Vintage Speedsters ($189 and $219 respectively for a pair). I was concerned about the aesthetic of the pure white light and he suggested the VC5000 kit could work in its "Warm Yellow"  (2500) color for $329. The "Warm Yellow" is just a filter that can be removed if I'd prefer white instead.

Seems like a great product. I'm asking for pics of "Warm Yellow" in action. I really like how my sealed beams look today. I don't know how far I want to stray from that look.

Thanks for the recommendation @mtflyr.

I bought a pair of Vintage Car LEDs early last week for delivery Friday.  There was a delivery mix-up and they were never sent to the garage doing some work on my Speedster.  When I found out in the middle of the next week, I contacted Thomas who determined the cause.

As the lights I'd ordered where out-of-stock, he offered me a free upgrade for their "classic" more expensive lights and promised to mail them out that same day.

I'm confident that their lights will be as bright as their customer service is responsive.

Marshall
