Mitch- funny you mention the upgrades. I was laughing after I had sent my reply last night at the comment folks on this site mentioned when I had posted my purchase- "welcome to the madness". Now I really understand where they are coming from; it's crazy what upgrades one can do if they just have the dollars. Well, hearing other postings just makes sense for me to make a list of the upgrades of my interest and in time with parts poop out, look at upgrading at the time. Thanx for everything.

Question: are you sure that it is the speedster version of the vintage exhaust on the photos?

for me it looks like the beetle version. Int the speedster version, the pipes should be ca. 2 cm lower. (see photo)

maybe they parceled the wrong one?

I also got this exhaust and I'm very satisfied IMG_20160719_161936IMG_20160719_161925

Hi Jan,

It is the correct exhaust. I think the angle of the photos may make it seem tighter than is. If you check the video there is a little more clearance there. Being that these cars are custom built I would expect some differences in fit and finish. I'm just glad it fit without any modification, I read a few threads where that wasn't the case.

Regards,

Greg
