@R Thorpe i watched the videos....and attempted to purchase the kit....but,  i had a early model shifter that was not compatible to the upgrade....i bought the bushing alone (which was $14)...., and sold it along with the bushing to one of the guys here who had the means to machine the older shifter to accept the bushing upgrade which i chose not to attempt....as i said,....purchasing  this newer model is well worth the $$$

@thedak  perhaps i should clarify...i bought an early model shifter..it was fine , just had the slight vibration & shake...that was a common issue with this shifter...the upgrade kit comes with a entire new ball shaft with the PORSCHE bushing already attached that was not compatible with the early shifters...ergo i bought the bushing itself and found it took a machinist to adapt it...which was way beyond my pay grade....so i sold my shifter along with the bushing to a person that had access to a qualified machinist and simply bought a entire new model shifter with the PORSCHE bushing upgrade....so to answer your question....the part number of the oldermodel shifter will determine if the upgrade kit will be just a nut and bolt project to an existing shifter...i hope this explanation helps
