Hey Guys and Gals.. anyone have knowledge of what paint/paint system Kirk used when spraying his replicas? Mine believed to be 2004 ish car. Hoping someone might know if he used single stage or base-clear for his cars. Even better would knowing what paint he used. Detailer reluctant to take on my car without this knowledge. Any help appreciated. Thanks much! Keith

My 2015 was a single stage, and not particularly well done at that.
Thanks for reply. Agree on the quality. Who knew they might be worth
anything at the time..?

Black is a tough one to get right. I think he even charged extra for that color.
if your still wondering about if its single stage acrylic enamel or basecoat/clearcoar, sand some place under the frunk ie somewhere hidden with 600 paper, if it has color on it its enamel, if its milky white bonzai its clearcoat !!!
Black can take another week of sanding
It's single stage enamel; I have a 2004. Not a perfect flawess job but looks good and has lasted almost 17 years in very good shape.
Sorry for the typo; meant FLAWLESS....
