Wanted looking to rent a back Porsche Speester for my wedding.

My Speedster brutha's (and sista's) freaked me out with all the insurance warnings, so I'm not "renting" the car to Kenny. Instead, he's going to have a professional detailer color sand & polish the black paint just before the wedding so it's looking like a bucket of oil at night when they go to get married in it. So that's a cool Win-Win. And as for insurance, I'm just letting a friend who did me a favor drive it for the day.

I also offered that we go take some engagement photos in the car... probably down by the beach some morning. He and Vivienne (sp?) are a really great couple - out of their minds excited about the dream getting fulfilled. And after I had Kenny do a 'check out' drive and learn the quirks of SkipTown, I'm pretty sure we'll see him on the forum announcing that he's bought a Speedster once the wedding bills stop rolling in. I think he's hooked and will be an even better addition to the club with a car! I mean, considering this thread has lasted "longer than some of Vince's marriages."

I like how good willed everyone here is but it's clinically insane to lend a car like that to someone you don't know without correct insurance.

But hey I'm a lawyer that works in insurance so am probably bitter and twisted.

JJ, I know you're just trying to be helpful, but sometimes you just have to do things that don't make sense legally.

Kenny, I'm so glad Mike's car is going to work for you! I hope you have a wonderful wedding and marriage. Though, you may want to buy a speedster after all the fun you're going to have in it - that could be your first married fight! Congrats!

Guys & Gals, this would be up to you to organize since, well, I won't have my car that day. Can you picture the lead car with wedding veil aflight, cans & streamers, and a whole pack of Speedsters in the Rallye? Kenny said he's got a bunch of black Escalades lined up for the wedding party so there's already some sort of parade planned. Maybe we can get enough Speedsters & drivers to take all the bridesmaids to the reception (or wherever you want to take a bridesmaid).

Now THAT'S A PARTY! An no one needs to loan out their Speedster (uh, except me of course). Hey maybe I can rent a Speedster to be in the wedding parade? Ugh - need to post an 18 month thread on that one now...
