The hotel has 21 of our 30 rooms booked so far.  If you haven't booked yet, you have until April 30th to do so.

We have 30 rooms blocked until April 27th (Friday).  If you miss that date, you're on your own.  If you think you want to go, but aren't sure you can make it, call and book and, if needed, cancel before the cancellation date of 2 days prior.  Of course, contact me before you cancel since I may have someone waiting for a room and we can transfer it to them (happened last year). But, the simple thing is DON'T WAIT!

Hotel info is as follows:

Quality Suites

1631 Monterey St.

San Luis Obispo, CA 93401

(805)541-5001

Tell them you're in the "SOC Group" for the special rate.

Watch for updates as I start asking for money to send my kid to college, er I mean, as I start putting dinner together.

Hey Dundernuckel, can you post this over on the Facebook page for Dr DeManto?  P.S. I corrected the phone number so GERD doesn't keep calling that college girl asking to stay the night!2013-06-08 21.43.08

Time for me to lay a deposit out for dinner.  I'm going to need numbers ASAP so I can get everything set and determine a per person cost.  Please reply with names (real and SOC) and the number of people in your party.

So everyone knows the plan, the consensus was to stick with the BBQ dinner like last year so our menu goes something like this:

Appetizers: 3 types of Sausage w/ sauces, Chips and Salsa

Entree: Pork Ribs, Beef Tri-Tip and Chicken Quarters

Sides: Baked Mac n Cheese, Baked Beans, Potato Salad, Garden Salad and Garlic Bread

Dessert: Fudge Brownies

Includes Beer, wine, water and sodas.

Approx cost is $45/pp which will be payable in advance, but for now I just need numbers to get the contract signed and deposit made to hold the date in their calendar.

Thanks for doing this quickly.

@Troy Sloan - Thanks for the offer.  It may come to that. I think I just broke my cardinal rule of one project at a time. Now I have 5 projects half finished. 100 little things pending. I'm going to sequester myself to the garage this Sunday to try and get it back on the ground.

I've found that when you need to get a lot done  make a list and be out in the garage by 6AM and wrench away , you'll be surprised what you can get done .
