Heads up to all.. Westfield sports cars UK, owners of the Chesil speedster 356 replica brand went into receivership in July 22', giving their staff 1 hour notice.

I've just heard from a buddy on a victims Facebook page called Westfield support group (171 members)  that they are relaunching under the new company name Westfield-chesil limited. My buddy just told me that the sales managing director of the first company , a guy called Simon Westwood, told over 50 customers their cars were being built , mostly and e-speedster, when in fact they were not, and none of them received a car or any parts , taking all of their massive deposits with them and huge debts for British suppliers . The reason for spreading the word is that even though he isn't the director of the new company , he is on board in a senior sales capacity. Careful all, goods before money for them, or just buy American... #USA #Speedster #SpeedsterReplica #Speedster356Replica

Sounds like a case for Fraud me, don't know if they have that on the other side of the pond.....Management should be facing some jail time!

For sure.  Millions were lost, some saying he was even on the phone to them saying he could see the car being built, others saying he took another £15k two weeks before administration. The victims group are looking at civil and criminal angles, pretty sure they won't rest until they get some sort of justice.

They had American customers whose money was taken too. The new Westfield Chesil company that bought the old one are different owners, so are detached from the old directors , but they are looking for American distributors, and this Westwood guy is at the helm. Spread the word about him, Simon Westwood  ... Harder to get our bucks back from across the pond.
