Not mine, and I certainly don't think this is a good looking Speedster, but Let's look at the photos and see if we can decide, who made it, and is this a good deal.

My first impressions, 1200 cc motor? seems small. Obviously a bug frame and looks to me to a JPS from the late 90's?  I could be wrong, 914 gauges, and no P badges just a German Grill badge on the front.

So what do you guys think?  Being sold by a Acura dealer, and it's 28 degrees here right now, so no one is driving this thing home unless they have great winter gear and a strong constitution.

Mid 80's CMC/FF for sure - spartan interior, hibachi engine grill, for show "Roll" bar and "Calif" flared body.  I have same CMC lip-stick red interior! Even has the optional CMC gold/chrome wide wheels. Steering wheel is OEM CMC with "Speedster Classic" crest.

Surely not a 1200 cc pre-1965 engine though -since it has large dual carbs and post '71 dual port intakes.  I bet someone in DC Metro area knows the car (ha, unique engine lid popper - a bed spring!)  Not a $20k car this time of year for sure!

A few more observations after looking at the car again, those Nerf bars!  Not my cup of tea.  Also the orange lights in the front, hideous...   So it's a CMC"calif" wide body ( I have one) but for some reason the wheels look odd, like the front is not aligned within the body correctly and the back has some spacers or something to push them out in to the wheel arches. the rear view side mirrors seem too far back on the doors, like you would see nothing but the traffic beside you in them.  I guess with some time and $$ you could rectify most of the issues, and you would need to figure out exactly what engine is in this thing...

They didn't call it a wide body - just flared fendered. The orange turn signals are indeed CMC OEM - SignalStat 18 wheeler trailer clearance lights.  I ditched mine and used AH Lucas lights with glass lenses (see my AVATAR).  They fit perfect and are available for single or dual filaments for under $35 each from Moss Motors.

The optional $90 each gold and chrome wheels are not attractive - maybe in 1980. None of the CMC options were worth the extra $ save for the bumper over-riders.
