well the paint was good, but the prep work was meah....no interior, tired old vw chassis, looked like a original stock 1600dp, was on a 73 frame, and most of the body was hacked/homemade, none of the engine was cowled, open to the back, and the wheels were visible from the engine compartment. Over all, a bit too much, all it had was bumpers, lights, no trim, shaved door handles, looked like ALOT of work to make that thing road worthy, and the windshield was the deal breaker. A speedy windshield setup would cost $800-1000, plus you would have to do body work to remove the fiberglass windshield surround, which would involve painting it again (at least the front) and on and on......if he had the windshield i would have considered it. But with that much fab work to be done on a hacked speedy, what would it be worth after it was done? $10K???? I couldn't give away my old 57 speedy CMC that had 3300mi on it high quality build.......
