I too would be very interested to see much more detail about how this works. I have ordered both windshield (installed) and windscreen (separate) for my new Beck Spyder. I have not seen photos of the "wiper plugs" or "body plugs" in place when the full windscreen is swapped in and the wipers removed, much less the OP's request for how a one person windscreen swap looks. Also, what does the hole on the top dash for the windscreen mirror look like when it's empty (?) and the windshield is installed? Thanks.

This is a used vintage Spyder that was for sale a short while ago. It shows the rivet-nuts, I guess,  in the dash not being used by the solo windscreen.

It looks like the windshield wiper post holes were filled in during manufacture.

I just noticed the center post for the windshield is attached to what looks like a base instead of mounted into the dash. I don't know, just guessing.

I didn’t even bother to plug the hole for the mirror support when I put my lexan screen on. The problem is that it’s drilled at an angle so a regular plug won’t work. The only way to fill it is bondo/paint.
The hole is only partially visible under the leather gasket for the windscreen. I thought it would bother me, but it doesn’t.

My “wiper plugs” are just triangular pieces of plastic the PO glued over the cutouts prior to repainting the body.

Next time I’m going fit a drive I’ll take some pics.

I have searched the Vintage Motorcars website but can't find anything like this there. Where did you see this please? A google search came up empty too.

Go to the Vintage motorcars Spyder options. Where you can click what extras you want. And within those extras are those delete caps.

That's why I think they are only available for a build and not available as a  parts option afterward. May have to message them?
