Charlie, just bite the bullet and buy one already! I have a used one here in the shop and 3 new ones about to hit the market. Or I'll sell you a painted body with powder coated chassis with all the parts so you can just build one yourself!
I have a project Beck Spyder that I took in a few years ago and just haven't had the time to do anything with. No drivetrain and no suspension but lots of custom parts and some aluminum interior work plus aluminum brake ducts, aluminum front and rear wheel wells, and aluminum panels with lightning hole inside the rear bonnet. I've seen the Spyder that Carey is talking about -- it is really, really cool. If you dig aluminum and really want that extra touch, it would be a superb car to own. I believe it has some blue darts on the clam and looks amazing.

Chaz, Carey is the best, he'll be in touch. That car sounds like a steal IF you like all the extra stuff that was done, and if the aluminum interior is your thing.
