Just needs an Espar gas (diesel) heater.  And maybe that twin plug Raby T4!n

Weird that the front tub was replaced - don't see crash damage - just a pile of FEO2?  The picture shows the floor of both pieces was green but the exterior was orange.  I always thought '76 was the first year for Porsche to galvanize/zinc coat lower body but I have seen many 912E with rust.

I almost bought a '73 914 in Zambezi green - nearly the same color!

All the answers are in the comments section.

The tub was replaced due to battery corrosion. Neglect (the result of being the step-child of the Porsche lineup) was way so many of the galvanized 912Es look so bad.

The car was that green from the factory, received an orange respray, before back to green.

That's very nice.  Only 912 that had a Type 4.  The earlier ones had 356 engine.  Bid is already over $45k with 3 days to go.

Yeah, as I said:

This one has a lot going for it. Electric A/C compressor, EFI on the 2.0, mild mods, nice body/interior.

I remember when 912Es were <$5000. This one will maybe bring 10x that.

It seems like I might have guessed low.
