IMG_7954Ive never seen this before. I got an email telling me an item I'm watching is ending today and it also tells me it's reserve price. On one I got last week for a different car it didn't tell me the reserve.  Is this the sellers choice?

I did look at the eBay policy on reserve. It did mention that is a seller lowers a reserve to below the high bid amount that the high bid amount would be reduced to $1 below the reserve and the high bidder would be notified of the lowered reserve and would have to rebid if he wished to meet reserve and buy it. It did not mention anything about public knowledge of actual reserve amount. Said if was up to a seller if he wanted to tell someone who asked. I found it odd it was emailed to me by eBay simply as a watcher (I had not bid on it)
