Seemed like such a good idea that I went out and did it. My car isn't back on the road yet so I grabbed Steve's. It was filthy from sitting in storage and the battery was dead but I'm REAL handy at roll starting.

Dropped the top and headed out. Drove about an hour. No particular place to go. Rained a little, then the sun came out.

Nice way to end the day. Cold... but nice.

Mr. Porsche, you built fine cars. Thank you.

Gives the "Drive your Porsche to Work" day a little different meaning now, doesn't it?

How many other families have given the auto enthusiast world as much fun as the Porsche family??

HALF of the GT field in the Rolex series is Porsche. That's like 25 out of 47 GT cars.

Why?

Because they're very, very fast, AND they make it to the end of the race. Time after time.

Thank you, Ferdinand, Ferry and Butzi. May you watch us as we enjoy your creations as long as we can.
Our son got back from Germany last night (3am). We haven't talked to him for two weeks while he was traveling with his school group. The last 5 days, he stayed with a host family.

A host family of motorheads. The host-father took our son in a black (exactly the right color) AMG Mercedes which Ryan described as FAST AS HELL to the Porsche Museum.

Ryan got me a keychain from the museum. It's a soft leather fob with a beautiful Porsche emblem on it. The color is a yellow-tan, very similar to my old 911 coupe.

I LOVE OUR BOY!!
