First Anniversary with the Speedster

This Friday marks the first anniversary of when we bought the Speedster in Boise, Idaho with about 8,500 miles on it. I just checked the clock on it and it's now 28,824. Mostly highway miles made up most of the numbers while driving it home from Boise last September and of course the Cali to Carlisle trip last May. I can't ever remember seeing such beautiful scenery and meeting such great people as we did. Thanks to Henry for such a solid little ride, Warren Miles for the new engine. Not bad considering we've still got less than $9,500 tied up in the little bugger. Pretty good fun for about $0.62 per mile, eh?

David---20,000 in one year is a record for ANY car---not just a Speedster.

Good to meet you and Francine and hope you will make it back to Carlisle or maybe we'll see you at the West Coast event next year.

In 3 months I will be on my tenth year with my D and I just gave her a good bath today .

I haven't washed it sence Ashville last year Oh she had a few sprizzes of detail spray over the months to remove the bug mess and i finally got the trunk straighten out Its smelling nice again free from the gas spill last year. but she was well overdue. for a good one..

I have to admit its still a head turner got complements 4 times yesterday and today she wasn't even clean.. I felt i had to correct that shameful disrespect. I was inbarshed. I want to hopefuly be at Silk Hope this Saterday for the weekend festival..

That my real home I grew up there over 22 years was schooled there from 6th to 8th grade. didn't leave until my dad passed and mom sold it.. Im getting home sick..

My son Matthew is talking about the "PORSCHE" tat on Steve's back. Boy am I in trouble. That was a great event, especially with the Medford people making the treck. Hope to see you soon.
