Ok folks, this is a real long shot but I know there is a lot of experience out there so here I go... going to build a copy of the Morgan 3 wheel, just brought the Moto Guzzi for the motor and transmision.. and the build will start soon

Question Was looking for some ready made front suspension and wonder if anyone knows anything suitable.. Uper and Lower Wish bones, Drop spine and ball joints

Sorry I know its a long shot, but worth casting the line in

Great idea ! !

I just happen to have a set of genuine Morgan knock-off caps if you wanna extend the masquerade a bit. You'd need to fashion some collars to mount them to whatever wheels you decide on, but I'd make you a sweet deal on 'em . . . they'd make neat cup holders or ashtrays, possible steering wheel center, if nothing else.

A Beetle front torsion beam with custom fabricated shock towers would look weirdly Vintage and different enough to pass, wouldn't it? The ones fitted to the VERY early TVR prototypes are kinda cool and very British in appearance.

New towers, gloss black and BRG paint, yellow accent, with a brass plaque or two stating that it was Made in Coventry riveted to the beam would be as convincing as can be.

Otherwise, check out the Triumph Spitfire. Light weight cheap, parts available for rebuild, disk brakes, wire wheels, and near perfect.
I think I'd look into the front suspension from a larger displacement quad, or even a rhino.

Good a-arm type suspension, good brakes, especially on the heavier models, and might be REAL affordable from a bone-yard or racer. Some of these guys race these and get absolutely nuts over the suspension. They'll swap out the stock and go with long travel. Then they practically give a way te stick bits.

It's expencive, But the Eyeball Engineering setup, would allmost be a bolt in kit for ya and it has a rack.. That would be your best bet for a good setup . a pair of Ford 29 A model chrome rims would also look very close to correct for you And they are a wide 5 pattern that you might can make work. i don't have the specs, But its worth looking into. But they had built in drums If i remember correct
I think the recommendations are leading you to a more robust front suspension than you will need. These cars are very light weight. If you notice this example has very small coil springs and the A arms are tubular and quite light....and no, I do not know what was used in this car. I just happened to see it at a very recent Cars and Coffee here in Houston.....very small car and very light weight.

I have a friend that just bought a running wrecked Suzuki bike with severe front end damage. This could be something he will want to follow. He has simular plans.

What threw me Is he has a twin air cooled diesel engine to make a bio fuel vechicle from this stuff He hasnt started yeat, still gathering up his parts. he said No transmisson ,,totally Hydrostatic like a heliocopter..

Please confirm the identify of all the parts you can.

we make a 3 wheel trike called the Buckland B3 and fabricate our own front wishbones have a look at our website penguinspeedshop.com if you let us know what you want we can build for you very inexpensively . If not we can advise you on how to do it FOC. With a 3 wheeler you need a very low unsprung weight on the wheels if you go with triumph discs it will handle like a pig the other thing to bear in mind is that you need quick steering as a two front one rear wheel trike will flip if pushed to hard

feel free to contact us and we will happily help where about in the world are you?

regards

john
