car was hit and run in parking lot while i was in store 5 minutes.

security tapes show nothing. Grundy Insurance said no problem i was covered 100%.No twenty questions, innuendos, nothing. Adjustor came out next day and said pick my shop. Its in the SF Bay area now at a shop that works on Tigers. The owner drives one to work.
Total bill was just shy of $5k, OUCH. they will paint entire front clip, hood and left door. They are also checking the frame for trueness and will align it also.

He straighted your old fender perfectly .. Now that is a pro .. NICE !
I bet he will re seam seal the inner fender near the couel just to be sure its still water tight everywhere and do you a great repair. 5k is a lot but you had one heck of a crushed fender have him check the passager side h make sure the caster didn't get kicked under (aka) a slight under twisting of the frame as the passager wheel was dragged inward ..Id be suspicious of that having happened also

But I think you got the right place to get her back right. Well I at least hope so.. I had my share of disapointments form some of the shops around here I now do my own work as much as possable.

I do know a fella with a Wise frame machine if i have a seriuos situaction I'll ask to use it on one of my cars But i hope that never happens.. I wish your situaction never happened. I hate to see a beautiful car messed up..

That's fantastic! Looks like the guy's a master at re-tuning curved fenders. Glad to hear the insurance didn't give you a fit -- and that they let you choose your shop!

When I submitted a claim for cracked windshield and couldnt find an installer , they OKed me to do it mself !
faxed them the receipt for WS and $75 install.
mailed me the check.
