Now this is a Go Cart !   I built this 14 years ago with my machine shop friend Randy in Chambersburg PA. Power via Yamaha Virago 95 HP. (notice the VW Monza exhaust) Very stout full cage, independent suspension and single Empi rear disc brake. Set up to run Sunday mornings (post Saturday night races) at a local dirt track. Both Randy and I drove it once on the dirt track, it was scary fast clocking over 70 mph and there was still more) and not by any means, easy to control.... a single lap there would be a pile of dry dirt in the driver's compartment.... We quickly named it "Ciller Kart" ....I sold it to  guy in WV that was going to run it in the woods here ~

95 hp?  That is insane!!!  How does it even stay on the ground?!

Going out onto a Dirt Track in the AM after a Saturday night of racing: ruts and piles of fresh clay / dirt and the chassis would sorta' slide over the dirt. I could only use my gloved palms to steer it or it could easily break a wrist, it wasn't often that it was on all four wheels .... Do a wild lap, broom the dirt off the engine and dig out the seat and switch drivers  ~   Randy's memorable quote " I've always feared having a Banjo string break and take my eye out......THIS is far worse and the definition of insanity"  :~)
