Check this McLaren out. For sale at my Mini dealership. $109KMcLaren

Nolan, if you buy that, you'll have to come up with something like a "Tuck N Roll" to get into and out of the car.  I've developed my T N R so that I don't think I look foolish rolling out of the Speedstah, but I can see that in a few years I'll be doing the Tuck and Crawl to get my bony a$$ out of it.

Cars with rooflines below 36" should be illegal......

There is no debate that a cool wheel and tire package really add value when selling a car. IMHO, these are too beefy for street use but would be great for the track.  It will also put a lot of stress on the steering box(assuming its standard box)

Yeah, like I posted in your thread, I had similar tires on mine (on smaller diameter wheels) and when I replaced them with OEM sizes, it was like it had power steering. Handling didn’t seem to suffer much, but I only drove it at 7/10th at best.

RNM @ $56.5K

It's not a replica, it's a ....

Well, I guess for bidders over at BaT, no one was quite sure what it is. The highest bidder commented that he's done his homework and he knows it's not a collector's car. He called it a 'novelty'.

Maybe that's the best take on it. I wonder how this result will affect the plans of the current project manager, who was looking for what, $150K plus a donor car to do the conversion?

Ah well, once again BaT is good for, if nothing else, cheap entertainment for those of us with limited disposable income.
