Ok guys, need your opinions here. Looking to buy one and need advice. I am going to build it myself and would like to know the difference in bodies and suspension.

I think your list just got really short. If I am not mistaken, only Thunder Ranch sells do-it-yourself kits.

Actually, both Thunder Ranch and Vintage will sell the body and frame alone. I am curious as to the suspension and drivetrain setup difference , the ride styles and if the bodies are the same or not.

I got a message from Greg at Vintage a couple days ago and he's saying that they're starting to offer up the kits again. Web page and specifics still to be decided, but looks like options are opening up again a bit. He was also saying that they're now self-producing the frame and body and thus is reportedly cutting back on the wait times. Can't confirm any of this from specific experience though.

I am considering purchasing a 550 spyder vehicle from either Special Edition, Automotive Legends, Boulder Speedster, Thunder Ranch, or Vintage Spyders.
Can someone tell me which builder is better and why I should buy from them?
Thanks,
