I am using NAPA wiper arms that are very similar to the Trico arms that come with CMC Speedsters.

The arms fit over a 1/2" knurled adapter with a clip that grabs the bottom of the adapter.

I can't figure how to pull back the clip so I can pull the arm off and change the parking position of the arm.

I have seen wiper arm removal tools for sale but don't know if any of them work with this arrangement.

Any solution?

I'm trying to get it to a state where I can take it to the Woodward Dream Cruise so I can give the million (really) people who will be there a chance to see it. This is August 20.

I am making progress on my electrical issues. I have functioning wipers now with no fuse blowing. I am about to tackle the horn.

I have to at least finish electrical and mount to front bumper to take it to the Dream Cruse. I would also have to get insurance and license plate.

Still to go is replacing the exhaust with my new A-1 system and the the windshield swap, top and side curtains. I am a little unhappy with the top header from Vintage because the clamps are crooked. I may see if they will exchange it which will delay the top.
Bill, does it work on the system I have described?

If so, do you know the maker and part number.

I have seen Lisle 65750 for sale but I can't tell from the picture if it would work on these wiper arms.

Others, intended for wiper arms held on with nuts like original VW arms, are like little battery cable pullers.

I don't mind buying a tool if I know it will really work.

I want to adjust the position of one arm and I probably should pull them both off when I swap windshields.
